FAQs

What are the show times?

The show runs from 19.30 – 22.10 and will include two intervals. Entry to the amphitheatre is between 18.00 and 19.00. We can’t let late comers disrupt the show and would need to wait until the first interval if your arrive later. So please don’t be late.

How do I get to the site?

Queens Park Arena is of course within the grounds of the public Park. There is plenty public transport too nearby i.e. Buses (Pollokshaws Road and Victoria Road) and Queens Park Train station is close. The venue’s entrance access is facing Victoria Road entrance of the park.

Can I buy a single ticket?

Yes!

Can I bring my Pet?

No dogs (or other pets) are allowed in the amphitheatre due to noise and PDSA guidance. Guidedogs are an exception to this of course.

What are the seating arrangements?

We have chairs arranged in bubbles on the steps of the amphitheatre. The earlier your group arrives the better choices your group will have.

What facilities do you have?

The site will be fully fitted out i.e, toilets, licensed bar, street food and is fully accessible for wheelchair users.

If you have any additional access or seating needs, please email info@laughinthepark.com a few days in advance of the show.

Can I bring Alcohol?

No Sorry, but there is a licensed bar you can purchase drinks from before the show and in the intervals.

Can children or teens attend?

Sorry it’s not a “family” show and is 18+

Can I heckle the comedians?

We would also ask you to respect the other visitors to the festival and the performers. Some comics most certainly will ask for audience participation, but we ask please not to interrupt comedians by shouting out when not asked too. Everyone else has paid to hear this fantastic line-up, not to listen to you and your friends. Repeat offenders will be asked to leave.

Its an outdoor show, what happens if it is bad weather?

This is an outdoor event so please dress appropriately.
The show will go on unless it is unsafe to do so. In the unlikely event the show did have to curtailed mid show, due to bad weather no refunds would be possible.

What if I can not attend?

As this a ticketed event we can not refund customers whom can no longer attend for their own reasons. However if you login into Skiddle (the ticket selling partner we use).

We would however urge you to make your ticket available for “re:sell” and sell your ticket on to someone else whom missed out on buying one before it was sold out. There is a large waiting list and it is likely you will be able to sell it on. Please see Skiddle  terms and conditions for this service, they will retain your booking fee.

The event is sold out, will there be any more tickets?

Sadly sold out, means we are at full capacity. If you previously joined the waiting list, you will be offered any tickets which customers whom can no longer attend decide to re-sell via Skiddle. One the current waiting list has been offered any tickets, the waiting list will open again. Tickets will be offered in order people joined the waiting list.

Is the lineup confirmed?

All advertised performances have been scheduled and confirmed. Occasionally, performers may have unforeseen other commitments and are unable to attend. In such cases, we always strive to find a replacement of comparable reputation and humor.
